New Mid-Autumn lantern model loved
Mid-Autumn Festival 2026, many lantern models are transformed with new designs and materials, combining traditional features and modern style. These unique products attract the attention of many young people, especially those suitable for going out, taking photos and as gifts.
Instead of just using familiar materials such as colored paper, bamboo, and rattan, some lantern designs are combined with zinc, velvet, bamboo and rattan woven together with decorative accessories. Images of star lanterns, gift baskets or Mid-Autumn cakes are also incorporated into the design, creating new products.

Ms. Le Phuong Thao (employee of a flower shop in Hanoi) said that the lantern designs and Mid-Autumn Festival products this year have received the attention of many young customers.
Customers respond quite positively to products with more unique designs. Young people are often interested in designs that can be taken for fun, photos or as gifts," Ms. Phuong Thao shared.
According to Ms. Phuong Thao, besides the need to go out and take photos, many people are also looking for gifts that have the meaning of connecting with family, friends and relatives during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
With Mid-Autumn products, we want to create gifts that bring positive energy, spread and connection. Mid-Autumn is not only an occasion for young people to meet and go out, but also a time to return to visit family, express gratitude to friends, partners and loved ones," Ms. Phuong Thao said.
Flower shop owner refreshes lanterns with modern materials
Ms. Le Phuong Anh (owner of a flower shop in Hanoi) said that this year's Mid-Autumn Festival products are developed by the store in a direction that intersects tradition and modernity.
If in previous Mid-Autumn seasons, we focused heavily on fresh flowers or traditional materials, this year the collection has added materials familiar to young people making handmade items such as zinc, velvet and many popular raw materials and accessories," Ms. Phuong Anh said.

According to Ms. Phuong Anh, the idea for the collection is usually prepared about 2-3 months in advance. Some designs have a price of about 400,000 - 600,000 VND, suitable for students and young people who want to buy them to go out, check-in. More elaborate products are priced from 1 - 2 million VND, even some displayed designs can be up to 5 - 6 million VND depending on the design.
A noteworthy point is that lantern and star designs are combined with zinc, velvet or bamboo baskets. The store also adds stickers, Mid-Autumn cake models and decorative details to make products closer to customers.
I want to still maintain the familiar image of Mid-Autumn Festival but create new points in the way of expression. New materials and details help the product have a different appearance, more suitable for the tastes of young customers," Ms. Phuong Anh shared.

Ms. Phuong Anh said that from the needs of customers in previous years, the store also increased the rate of using silk flowers instead of fresh flowers in some products. This method helps the gift to be stored longer and continue to be used for decoration in the house.
Currently, the number of Mid-Autumn Festival orders has started to appear but has not increased sharply. According to the shop owner, demand usually increases significantly in about 1-2 weeks before the Mid-Autumn Festival, when people start buying gifts and preparing for entertainment activities.
