On the show "You want to date", Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan introduced two guests: Le Huu Cuong (40 years old, from Vinh Long), who is working as a service driver in Long An, and the bride is Truong Ngoc Bich Ly (40 years old), an employee at a tourist area in Ben Tre.
According to Huu Cuong, he got married in 2012 and after living together for less than 3 years, his wife asked for a divorce. He confided that both he and his ex-wife were only children in their families. They met through a matchmaker so they did not fully understand the fact that his wife did not want to be a daughter-in-law.
After the wedding, his wife felt that it was a bit difficult, refused to live with her husband and be a daughter-in-law, and repeatedly asked for a divorce. "I begged my wife many times to reconcile, but she still refused. I was very sad, but thought that maybe the fate had ended. After the divorce, my daughter went to live with her mother," he shared.
Bich Ly had a similar situation of a broken marriage 2 years ago. She said that her 18-year-old son currently lives with his father and her 15-year-old daughter lives with her mother. The woman confided that she is a person who puts family first and tried to mend the marriage but her ex-husband did not value family.
After the divorce, Bich Ly had many men approaching her wanting to get to know her, but she always found ways to politely refuse.
The single mother added that she is currently financially stable and can raise her child on her own. "My job is in tourism, I have to meet a lot of people, and have little time for my family. I hope to find someone who will support me in my work and not put pressure on me," Bich Ly expressed.
After opening the fence, Bich Ly and Huu Cuong talked directly to each other. The driver praised the single mother for being very beautiful and expressed his desire to get to know her. Meanwhile, Bich Ly shared that if fate allows, she hopes the two of them will open up to get to know each other.
"At this age, I think I don't have time to be jealous like when I was young. We are all mature, so we will understand, sympathize, and share with each other. Life will have happy times and sad times. I hope we will try to find joy, instead of being silent and leaving," she said.
In response, Huu Cuong confided that he had been divorced so he really hoped to find someone suitable for him.
After the conversation, only Huu Cuong pressed the button, while Bich Ly did not agree to date.
Bich Ly confided: "I came to challenge myself to see if I could open my heart again. Before leaving, I thought a lot about the journey from Ben Tre to here.
Outside, I have a lot of friends, I meet them in person but still can't open up to anyone. When I came here, the program let me meet some single friends. I tried to open up again but still couldn't. Unfortunately, it's not because you have any problems, it's because of me. I hope you will meet someone better than me."
