With the theme "Conflict in parenting", "Perfect blend" is a story about disagreements in raising children of couples. Finding a common voice in this issue is not easy, because each person has their own point of view, leading to unsatisfactory child-rearing results.
This is also the reason for the conflicts that have not shown any signs of ending between Mr. Dang Nguyen Phuc and Ms. Kim Lien.
Ms. Kim Lien shared with People's Artist Hong Van that her family has all four children, but each child has a different personality. As a mother, she always thinks about good things and wants to bring her children a rosy life, so she is very strict in their studies.
During the conversation, she confided: "I really want my child to study, I think the educational path is the shortest and easiest path so that in the future they can walk firmly on the path of life".
Mr. Dang Nguyen Phuc also found that Ms. Kim Lien's teaching method was correct, but he wanted his children to "study and play, and occasionally need to be deterred, not to create too much pressure to study", he shared.
The conflict in parenting between him and her is very fierce. Ms. Kim Lien sadly shared: "Once the conflict reached its peak, the couple filed for divorce." She knew that the two had always had different views on how to raise children, so she decided to take custody of the child when asked by someone in court.
The incident has reached this point, the main reason being that "both husband and wife are hot-tempered, so the conflict easily explodes and escalates to the top", he sadly shared. In addition to the conflict in parenting, there are other disagreements, but perhaps this conflict is the most fierce and tense.
When People's Artist Hong Van asked about Mr. Nguyen Phuc's way of raising children, Ms. Kim Lien shared: "He teaches children in a very simple way, if they are not good at studying, he will let them stay home from school, and after retirement, he will not put too much pressure on them to study. But for me, studying is important, if I can't study now, what can I do in the future?". From there, disagreements piled up.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Phuc felt very uncomfortable when they both disagreed. Every time there is a disagreement, he often chooses to avoid it, not arguing back and forth to avoid making a big deal out of it.
People's Artist Hong Van shared about her story of raising her child: "My husband, Mr. Tuan Anh, has given me full custody of raising the child. He did not interfere in my parenting. My husband and I have a c contract, he will do the big thing, and I will teach the children.
I was very moved when he once said about me: I have complete trust in raising my mothers children. I hope my children will all be like me. I am not an outstandingly talented person, but when I heard my husband say that, I felt that my responsibility was very great, very noble.
People's Artist Hong Van commented that until now, the conflict between Mr. Nguyen Phuc and Ms. Kim Lien is still in each person's hearts. The couple chose to resolve the disagreement behind their child's back, instead of resolving it directly in front of their child. This means that the two have not yet found a common voice to resolve the conflict.
