After many cooking times, especially stir-frying, the grease layer often sticks to the surface of the gas stove, electric stove, suction or kitchen wall. If not opened immediately, the oil will oxidate, combined with dirt to form a layer of glue that is difficult to remove. Many people choose to use strong cleansers, but this can cause skin irritation and respiratory problems, especially in young children.
Dr. Lisa Yakas - a household hygiene expert at NSF International (USA) said: "Fat, especially from animal fat, when heated many times will form a very durable layer of residue, firmly attached to the surface. The best solution is to use substances that can soften oils combined with cleaning material properly".
White vinegar with water and baking soda
To remove this grease stain, we can mix white vinegar with water in ratio of 1:1, spray on the grease stain, wait 5 minutes. Then sprinkle a thin layer of baking soda on top, creating a foaming reaction that breaks down the structure of the stain. Use a soft towel or a piece of spinach to gently pat the peeling.
Dishwashing water and warm water
Dilute the dishwashing liquid with hot water (about 60-70°C), use a towel and wip the surface. The temperature helps the oil and fat to dissolve quickly, combined with surface active ingredients in dishwashing water to wash away the dirt.
Lemon orange essential oil or orange peel mixture soaked in vinegar
The natural essential oil from orange peel is mildly acidic, while creating a pleasant fragrance. Soak the orange peel in vinegar for 1 week and use this mixture to clean the stove, both clean and odor-reducing effectively.
Cornstarch
Sprinkle the flour directly onto the oil stain on the stove, wait a few minutes for the flour to absorb the oil. Then rinse with a damp cloth, this method is very suitable when the oil is newly leached or poured into the kitchen.
Use an old toothbrush to brush the gap
For the area around the Nines, the suction or kitchen border, using a toothbrush to soak vinegar in dishwashing water will make it easier to access and clean.
Notes when cleaning the kitchen
Always try the bleach solution in a small corner in front to avoid damaging the stainless steel surface, glass or electrical static paint.
Use gloves when exposed to the vinegar - soda mixture if skin is sensitive. Dry the surface after cleaning to avoid mold.
