Hanoi - Thai Thinh Primary School, Dong Da, Hanoi has just issued an apology letter for a major mistake at the opening ceremony.

Accordingly, Thai Thinh Primary School said that at the opening ceremony, the school had a big mistake when publicly displaying a list of students in difficult circumstances on the screen in front of all students, parents and guests attending.

"The school deeply recognizes this as a very unfortunate mistake, and also an expensive lesson for the school to improve its organization and education" - the apology letter wrote.

Previously, social networks spread photos taken at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026. The image shows that on the big screen in the middle of the school yard is a list of nearly 20 disadvantaged students receiving support on the occasion of the new school year. The names of the students are attached in detail with family circumstances, even details of the medical conditions of students and relatives.

It is worth mentioning that the school publicly disclosed details about the children's family situation on screen, in front of thousands of students, parents and guests of honor.

The image has attracted the attention of many people, causing controversy. Some people think that perhaps we should sympathize because sometimes schools do this to make information more transparent.

However, many people think that the school should only read the list of children receiving gifts, because this is personal data. If it is not disclosed in the right place, it will make children feel inferior, or even bullied at school.
