Woman with muscle atrophy and the journey of 100% will to live

"100% Journey" is not only a story about personal determination, but also a strong message about the resilience and will to overcome difficulties of the woman Nguyen Thi Xuan.

Born into a poor farming family in Ha Nam, Nguyen Thi Xuan's life was not very peaceful. The first incident came when her father suffered from muscular dystrophy, which made him unable to walk or work.

At that time, Ms. Xuan was only 12 years old, and her younger brother was also diagnosed with the same disease.

For a poor family living in the countryside, treating three people in the family became an unimaginable burden for Ms. Xuan's mother. Having to take care of the family and work hard to make a living, the mother had to sacrifice a lot.

However, Nguyen Thi Xuan never let her circumstances overshadow her will. From a healthy girl, facing muscular dystrophy forced her to change her outlook on life.

"At first, I was really shocked and felt like I was being left behind, but then I realized that instead of sitting there feeling sad, I had to stand up and find a way to overcome it so as not to become a burden to my family," Ms. Xuan shared.

From the first days of her illness, Nguyen Thi Xuan has been constantly striving to learn and find a direction for herself. Initially, she learned sewing and bamboo weaving to help her family, but the physical demands of the job made it impossible for her to maintain it for long. Not giving up, Ms. Xuan decided to try her hand at information technology and learn photo editing.

Thanks to her perseverance in studying, Ms. Xuan has become an expert in photo editing and advertising design. Her products not only help generate income for her family but also support her younger brother - who is also fighting the disease.

In addition to her personal work, Ms. Xuan also spends a lot of time on social activities. As an active member of the Ha Nam Province Disabled Club, she not only participates in but also organizes activities to help people in the same situation. Through this, she has inspired and brought hope to many people.

The program "Love Station" is not only a place to share the story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan, but also a bridge to help the audience understand more about the extraordinary will of the guest character. In the program, the audience witnessed the image of Ms. Xuan full of enthusiasm when presenting the product she designed. It was a poster carrying a message of love, with images and colors meticulously arranged by Ms. Xuan.

“If I have 100% health, I will give 100%, if I have 30% left, I will give 30% to do my best. There is no limit that cannot be overcome, as long as we do not give up.”

An indispensable part of Ms. Xuan's journey is her family. Despite the many difficulties in life, her mother has always been a strong support, the one who gave her the courage to move forward. As for her younger brother, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thuy has learned a lot from his resilient older sister, Ms. Xuan is the motivation for him to try harder every day.

The touching moments in the program are both a tribute and a great encouragement for Ms. Xuan, so that she can continue her meaningful journey. Despite her increasingly poor health, Ms. Xuan still maintains an optimistic spirit. For her, life is a journey in which every step requires effort and strong faith.

"100% Journey" is not only a story about personal strength, but also a strong message about resilience and the will to overcome difficulties. Through her sharing in the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan inspired the audience, affirming that all difficulties can be overcome when we devote 100% of our strength and faith.

Let's watch Love Station with the theme "Journey 100%" broadcast at 10:00 Saturday, January 11, 2025 on VTV1 channel.
