In the new episode of the show "You Want to Date", Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan continue their journey of matchmaking for lonely people looking for happiness. The male lead in this episode is Phan Hoang Hien (40 years old) who is paired with Nguyen Thanh Ngoc Tuyet (37 years old).
Hoang Hien said that he used to work for a garment company, but now he is a freelancer. He got married in 2017, divorced in 2023, and has a 7-year-old daughter living with her mother.
When Quyen Linh asked the reason for the divorce, Hoang Hien admitted that he was busy with work and lacked attention and care for his family.
When coming to the program to find new happiness, Hoang Hien hopes that his girlfriend will be filial to her parents, respectful to elders, thoughtful of others, not selfish or jealous. Regarding appearance, he shared that he does not need a beautiful person, just a beautiful heart.
On the other side of the fence, Ngoc Tuyet also experienced many difficulties in love. She said she had 5 relationships but never married.
Ngoc Tuyet is currently a single mother of a 14-year-old daughter. Ngoc Tuyet confided that in her most recent relationship, she and her boyfriend lived together for less than a year before a conflict arose and the other person left. "My boyfriend knew I was pregnant but didn't want to move forward. They quietly withdrew, and I respected them," the single mother confided.
When they met, Hoang Hien and Ngoc Tuyet had an open conversation, sharing with each other about work, life, and wishes for the future.
The groom said that he currently lives with his parents and wants his wife to become his daughter-in-law. He added that he can cook and do housework, not just marry a wife and then force her to do it.
"If a man loves his wife, he won't make her do everything. We can share the work and help each other," Hoang Hien shared.
In response, Ngoc Tuyet expressed that she was not afraid of being a daughter-in-law. She needed a husband who was understanding, caring, and attentive to her children, without distinguishing between their biological children and their stepchildren.
The single mother added: "My mother said that if I find the right person and both families agree, she will accept. If I become a wife, I will take care of my parents, take care of the family, and take care of my husband and children."
With the support of the two MCs, Hoang Hien and Ngoc Tuyet had intimate moments, from the first handshake to sincere sharing.
