The teacher is now an old lady nearly 80 years old but still remembers the names of each of them, the mischiefs of more than 40 years ago. She was the one who opened up and guided us to start the biggest lesson of life: Being human.
Society has now changed, technology has also replaced people in many fields, but the role of a teacher cannot be replaced. People are talking a lot about Artificial Intelligence - AI. The question is: Will it be possible for AI to replace teachers at some point?
In today's digital age and artificial intelligence (AI), AI applications are no longer strange in education. AI can support teachers in preparing lesson plans, automatically marking assignments, and even communicating with students through chatbot software. But can AI replace the role of teachers in the classroom? The answer may be no, because there is one thing that AI cannot do: teach the lessons of the heart.
It is true that AI can help teachers convey knowledge quickly and accurately. It can analyze millions of data, solve complex problems, and provide instant information. However, the lessons that teachers impart do not stop at professional knowledge but are also humanistic values, affection, understanding and encouragement that a machine cannot replace. In education, the important thing is not only to impart knowledge, but to help students develop personality, know how to live responsibly, love and help others.
A good teacher is not only one who implements knowledge but also one who knows how to arouse a passion for learning in students. In class, students not only learn knowledge but also learn how to live, communicate, respect others and self-respect. These values cannot be transmitted through a machine. They are passed on through conversations, advice, and moments of sharing between teachers and students. Those lessons, although not measurable by numbers, are the most important foundation for helping students mature.
Good teachers in the technology era are not the best at imparting knowledge, but are the ones who are capable of turning knowledge into inspiration, the ones who know how to connect emotions with their students. One of the greatest values that teachers bring is the ability to arouse students' confidence in themselves and in the good things in life. AI can help solve intellectual problems, but only teachers can help students overcome challenges in life, become good people and have a kind heart.
Therefore, no matter how much technology can develop, the role of teachers is always irreplaceable. Teachers are the ones who inspire, the ones who help students develop not only in intelligence but also in personality. AI will be a great companion in education, but it can never replace the values that teachers bring.
My teacher, like the current teachers in the classroom, I believe, are all people with the courage to continue to be guides. They will be brighter, because they apply technology to the process of teaching the lessons of the heart.
