In the new episode of the show "Son of a Wife", Hong Van - Quoc Thuan met and chatted with the couple Nguyen Thanh Duy (26 years old) and Nguyen Phi Bao Ngoc (25 years old). The couple is from Can Tho and currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City.
Their love story began in high school. Bao Ngoc said that in grade 7, she followed her family from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho to live and study in the same class as Thanh Duy. She said that while she was very good, gentle, and studious, Thanh Duy was the most culprit in the class, having "used the savings" for a year.
"When I first entered the class, I heard about this friend's reputation, the teacher even arranged a seat for me to sit next to him. My friend teased me, pulled my hat, and broke the page for me to not paint, making me cry many times. At first, I hated him very much, but I naturally bought him a lot of things and liked him. It was not until grade 9 that Duy became mature, calm down and stopped teasing me," she said.
When she realized her feelings for Thanh Duy, she also took the initiative to text him to express her feelings. Hearing this, Hong Van humorously teased: "This young lady has a strange taste, at first she didn't like it, but then she was surprised when being teased".
Bao Ngoc added that when dating, she comfortably shares with her family, but is reminded because they are too young, afraid of affecting her studies. However, after meeting Bao Ngoc, Thanh Duy was motivated to try to study better, as well as change himself.
He shared: "My family used to have a hard time, and I was not good at studying. While Ngoc's family is the opposite, it can be said that the two families are not compatible. Once I took Ngoc home and saw her grandmother holding a broom and scolding Ngoc.
At that time, I was narcissistic, aware that I had to try to change. I set the goal to marry Ngoc so I try to study and work hard. In the 9th summer, I went to work, carried a cafe, delivered, wiped the glass in the hospital. I worked part -time from 9th grade, when I went to college, I practiced my business and built my career until now. "
According to the sharing, the couple got married in November 2024 and then decided to move to Ho Chi Minh City to build their own career. When Hong Van asked about the other person's bad habits, Bao Ngoc revealed that their personalities were opposite but they compensated for each other at work. However, in married life, this difference sometimes leads to controversy. Bao Ngoc shared that her husband was too meticulous, so sometimes it made her feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, Thanh Duy "accused" his wife of often sleeping on the roast, not exercising much, and sometimes being too busy with work to neglect herself. He hopes his wife will live more scientifically and exercise hard to maintain her health.
