Resolution No. 01/2024/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Soc Trang province (effective from April 28, 2024) stipulates the titles, regimes, and policies for part-time workers at the commune, hamlet, and residential quarter levels; the level of operating expenses for commune-level socio-political organizations; and the monthly support level for people directly participating in activities in hamlets and residential quarters in Soc Trang province.
Accordingly, the Head of the Village Front Working Committee in Soc Trang is a part-time worker in the hamlet or residential area, and is entitled to the following allowance:
For hamlets with 350 households or more; hamlets with 500 households or more; hamlets and hamlets belonging to key commune-level administrative units with complicated security and order according to the decision of competent authorities; hamlets with 350 households or more converted into hamlets due to the establishment of commune-level urban administrative units, the Head of the Village Front Work Committee shall receive a monthly allowance equal to 1.90 times the basic salary.
For hamlets and quarters not covered by the above regulations, the Head of the Front's Working Committee receives a monthly allowance equal to 1.4 times the basic salary.
In addition, a part-time worker in a hamlet or residential area who concurrently performs the duties of another part-time worker in the hamlet or residential area, reducing the number of workers by one person from the prescribed number, shall receive a part-time allowance equal to 100% of the prescribed allowance for the part-time position.
Part-time workers in hamlets and residential areas who concurrently hold the position of a person directly participating in hamlet or residential area activities and reduce the number of people in the hamlet or residential area by one person from the prescribed number will receive 100% of the monthly support level of the concurrent position.
The concurrent allowance is not used to calculate social insurance and health insurance contributions and benefits.
Currently, the basic salary being applied is 2,340,000 VND/month.
Thus, the Head of the Village Front Committee in Soc Trang receives two monthly allowances of VND 4,446,000/month and VND 3,276,000.
