Resolution No. 84/2023/QD-UBND of the People's Council of Binh Dinh province (effective from January 1, 2024) stipulates that the Vice Chairman of the Commune Veterans Association is one of the positions of non-professional activists at the commune level.
According to the Resolution, along with other positions of non-professional workers at the commune level, the Vice Chairman of the Commune Veterans Association in Binh Dinh receives a monthly allowance equal to 1.5 times the basic salary/person/month (including social insurance and health insurance contributions).
In addition, Binh Dinh provincial budget supports additional allowances for non-professional workers at the commune level, including the Vice Chairman of the Commune Veterans Association (ensuring a reasonable correlation with the salary level 1 of commune-level civil servants with the same training level), specifically as follows:
a) Support 0.36 times the basic salary/person/month for people with intermediate level;
b) Support 0.60 times the basic salary/person/month for people with college degrees;
c) Support 0.84 times the basic salary/person/month for people with university degree or higher.
This additional allowance support level is not calculated for social insurance and health insurance contributions.
Currently the basic salary being applied is 2,340,000 VND/month.
