From February 15, the Traffic Police will strictly handle drivers using cell phones while driving.

According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, in order to seriously and effectively implement the Road Traffic Law and build a civilized and safe traffic environment, the unit has issued a plan to patrol, control, and handle violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents on roads and railways.

The Traffic Police Department requires mobilizing other police forces to coordinate with the Traffic Police, effectively using technical equipment and traffic monitoring systems to strictly handle violations according to the topics.

Inspections and handling of violations are carried out regularly, continuously, strictly, flexibly and effectively with the spirit of absolute respect for the law, "no forbidden zones, no exceptions" to deter, educate and create positive changes in awareness and compliance with legal regulations of traffic participants.

It is strictly forbidden to interfere in the inspection and handling of violations. Be responsible if the traffic safety and order situation becomes complicated.

The plan implementation period starts from February 15 to December 31, 2025.
