On the afternoon of September 15, the 5th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, IX term, took place in Hanoi.
At the conference, delegates agreed to let Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam stop participating in the Central Committee of the 9th Vietnam Youth Federation.
At the same time, at the consultation conference, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy held the position of Chairman of the 9th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term 2024-2029.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy was Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy was born in 1984, from Bac Ninh, with a master's degree in professional qualifications and advanced political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy grew up from Youth Union and Association work and has held many positions at the Central Youth Union, Hanoi Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Youth Federation.
During his work, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy used to hold the positions of: Deputy Head of the Youth Union Central Committee; Member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Youth Union Central Committee; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, VIII term, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Central Committee.
In June 2026, Mr. Quy was elected as Secretary of the 13th Central Youth Union.
Also at the conference, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation also consulted Mr. Le Hai Long (Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Youth and Children Affairs Committee of the Central Youth Union) and Mr. Do Tuan Hanh (Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children Affairs Committee of the Central Youth Union) to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 9th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term 2024-2029.
In addition, at the conference, 10 brothers and sisters participated in the Presidium and 38 brothers and sisters participated in the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term IX, term 2024-2029.
