If Blackpink really releases an album in June, it will be the group's first comeback in about 2 years and 9 months since the album "Born Pink" released in September 2022.
Blackpink has held a Born Pink tour from October 2022 to September 2023. The tour went through a total of 23 countries, recording revenue of 331.8 million USD (about 8.5 trillion VND).
This is the tour with the highest revenue in the history of a worldwide girl group, and also the 6th highest tour revenue of all time by a female artist on a global scale.
At the end of 2023, 4 Blackpink members announced that they would continue to sign a group contract with YG Entertainment, but their individual contracts with the company were not renewed.
Since then, 3 members Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo have established their own company (OA Entertainment, LLOUD, Blissoo), while Rose joined producer Teddy's The Black Label company.
