The case of singer Miu Le and her group of friends being investigated by Hai Phong City Police for illegal drug use is currently attracting great public attention.
This incident is considered the biggest scandal in the female singer's career. Miu Le's real name is Le Anh Nhat, born in 1991, has participated in acting and singing. Miu Le became famous quite early, with roles in high-grossing films such as "Em la ba noi cua anh" (You are my grandmother). With music, Miu Le has many hits, most recently participating in "Em xinh say hi".
Recently, Miu Le appeared in the movie "Blood Moon Party 8" which just premiered at the end of April. The film is directed by Phan Gia Nhat Linh, produced by Charlie Nguyen, and currently has a revenue of 32.5 billion VND.
Regarding Miu Le being investigated for illegal drug use, the fate of the movie "Blood Moon Party 8" becomes a big question mark.
Talking to reporters about this film after Miu Le's incident, Director of the Cinema Department Dang Tran Cuong said: "The movie Blood Moon Party 8 has been granted Film Classification License No. 14/GPPLP-CĐA/2026VN dated March 30, 2026 in accordance with the provisions of the 2022 Cinema Law.
Currently, functional agencies are continuing to verify and clarify the involvement of actress Miu Le in illegal drug use, and handle it according to the provisions of law. The investigation process is still ongoing and there is no official conclusion from the police agency on specific handling plans.
After having the final conclusion from the investigating agency, the Department assesses the level of impact to handle it based on the Code of Conduct for people working in the arts issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism".
