After the Le Thuy and Minh Vuong generations – artists such as Vu Linh, Tai Linh, Ngoc Huyen, Kim Tu Long – became new symbols of the cai luong stage in the glorious era. Every play that audiences look forward to and wait for has the participation of 4 names: Vu Linh, Tai Linh, Ngoc Huyen, Kim Tu Long. They continue to create the prosperity of cai luong, and at the same time, cai luong stage also brings the names of the artists to the peak of fame.
The 1990s, when music was still in its infancy, when there were not many music listening platforms like now, "display players" listening to music from DVDs are still unforgettable childhood memories for the 8X generation of audiences.
Around 1994-1996 was the most brilliant period of DVDs of "Mua bui" (Dust Rain). Throughout the countryside and villages, DVDs of "Mua bui" were passed around. Tai Linh, Vu Linh, Ngoc Huyen, Kim Tu Long - from Cai Luong stages also participated in performing and filming for "Mua bui" (Dust Rain). A series of songs were loved, helping to expand the names of the cast of artists.
Ngoc Huyen and Tai Linh, no matter what stage they are on, are always close co-stars of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. 30 years have passed, the lives of Ngoc Huyen and Tai Linh have changed a lot.
Most recently, in April 2026, Ngoc Huyen had a long time returning to Vietnam. Ngoc Huyen shared that she returned to the country for more than 2 weeks to work, perform, do business, and record gameshows... Ngoc Huyen visited the Artist Pagoda (where there is an artist cemetery, worshiping veteran artists of the stage) to burn incense and commemorate her teachers. According to Ngoc Huyen, in 2003, the female artist contributed hundreds of millions of VND to build a road to the Artist Pagoda.
Ngoc Huyen's full name is Vu Ha Ngoc Huyen, born in 1970, was once an outstanding name of Vietnamese Cai Luong. Currently, Ngoc Huyen lives in the US. According to the sharing of many friends, Ngoc Huyen has a comfortable and peaceful life. Ngoc Huyen still has many shows in Vietnam. The female artist often travels between the US and Vietnam to continue her artistic work.

Tai Linh immigrated to the US in the early 2000s. After moving to the US, Tai Linh lived in seclusion, rarely participating in events of the art world.
Tai Linh's real name is Huynh Thi Phu Nhuan, born in 1956 in Ho Chi Minh City. At her peak, Tai Linh was a "tape queen", releasing many light music and Cai Luong DVDs, and participating in many famous Cai Luong plays.
