Before the appellate hearing of the heritage dispute case of late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, singer Hong Phuong said that the family will respect all court rulings, especially related to the property division ratio that is of public concern.
Accordingly, the information mentioned a lot is the possibility of inheritance division with a ratio of 15% for artist Hong Nhung (artist Vu Linh's younger sister), while the rest belongs to Hong Loan. Regarding this issue, Hong Phuong affirmed that the family does not put pressure on the number of winners, but will accept it if the final ruling is made based on the law and there is consensus between the parties involved.
Sharing about her psychology before the trial day, Hong Phuong said that her family had prepared for many different situations but did not make any predictions. According to her, the results depend on the evaluation process and decisions from competent authorities.
The female singer emphasized that bringing the case to court is necessary to ensure transparency and objectivity in the dispute resolution process. At the same time, this is also a way to close the prolonged noise, helping the parties involved to stabilize their lives.
My family will respect the final decision of the court. The important thing is that everything is resolved clearly and in accordance with the law," Hong Phuong shared.
On Hong Loan's side, she said she appealed because she did not agree to divide 15% of the inheritance to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (Hong Phuong's biological mother), and at the same time said that applying case law in the case is not appropriate. Hong Loan also reflected that her honor was affected during the trial process.
Hong Loan also declared that she would rather use 15% of the inheritance of late artist Vu Linh for charity than share it with Hong Phuong's family.
In the context that the case continues to receive public attention, Hong Phuong's family expressed their desire that the upcoming trial process will be thorough, ensuring the legitimate rights of all parties and maintaining the necessary solemnity towards the deceased.
