Danielle begins a new chapter as a member of NJZ

Singer Danielle - a member of Kpop group NJZ (formerly NewJeans) - was announced by Elle Singapore magazine as the cover face for the March 2025 issue.

Elle introduced, a force in Kpop, NewJeans, famous for songs such as "Attention", "Super Shy"... is now entering a new chapter with the name NJZ.

The group's announcement of a name change in February caused excitement, curiosity and a lot of discussion. It also signals a new beginning, turning the difficult period due to legal disputes with the old company (ADOR, HYBE) into something more interesting.

During the photo shoot with Elle, Danielle was praised for always having a professional, confident, warm and approachable attitude.

She moves with confidence, silently chats with groups and diligently prepares for each look. The camera loved her, and she knew exactly how to make each scene a success. Danielle looks natural and perfect in Celine's outfits and accessories.

Her professionalism is clearly shown - not in any public way, but in small details: patience, willingness to participate, the ability to easily shift her attention between conversation and camera - Elle praised the NJZ members working attitude.

Talking about her musical journey, Danielle revealed that her family plays an important role in nurturing her creativity.

"Music is everywhere - at home, in cars. My sister and I will perform small shows, and our parents always encourage us to explore our creativity" - the singer said.

Danielle June Marsh was born in New South Wales, Australia in 2005, with an Australian father and a Korean mother. When she was 4 years old, she and her family moved to Korea, immersing themselves in a vibrant cultural environment that would deeply influence her artistic journey.

Danielle's entertainment career started very early. At the age of 6, she appeared on Korean TV under the Korean name Mo Ji‐hye, in children's programs such as Rainbow Kindergarten, My Heart's Crayon.

These experiences have aroused Danielle's passion for performing and always stayed in her person, even after leaving the spotlight to return to Australia to study in 2012.

A few years later, when attending her first concert, Danielle had a moment that changed her life when watching Celine Dion perform on stage - her dream of becoming a singer was crystallized.

In 2020, Danielle returned to Korea and began a difficult journey as a Kpop trainee. Her dedication finally paid off when she debuted as a member of NewJeans in 2022.

"Attention," one of NewJeans' famous debut songs, was co-written by Danielle.

With a fresh sound and unique style inspired by Y2K, NewJeans has had an explosive start.

And what happened after that was nothing other than a phenomenon: In 2023, the second EP Get Up debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The group has sold more than 8 million albums and accumulated more than 5 billion streams on Spotify to date.

Danielle also participated in writing lyrics for many other songs of the group including "Super Shy", "Cool with You", "ASPA", "How Sweet"...

In addition to music, Danielle also affirms herself as a fashion IT Girl. As ambassadors for Celine, Calvin Klein, Omega and YSL Beauty, Danielle's dynamic style journey is like her own performances" - Elle wrote.

The female singer's fashion style on stage and everyday life are quite similar, both of which tend to be "athleisure" - a combination of sports style and everyday outfits. In particular, Danielle likes to combine additional accessories for her look.

As NJZ begins a new chapter, Danielle is looking forward to new exciting things, especially spending more time with the Bunnies fan community.
