The music night "Proud of Vietnamese identity" within the framework of the Doc Lap Festival - 80 years of Vietnamese pride took place at the walking space of Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi) on the evening of August 31, attracting thousands of spectators.
The program for young people, especially young people and students, with a special artistic feast, combining tradition and modernity, leaving many emotions behind.
Intertwining tradition and modernity
Opening the program, diva Hong Nhung and the band Chillies and the choir sang the song "Vietnam Homeland", arousing national pride and strong solidarity.
Next, Hong Nhung soloed on the two songs "Tuan Thuan" and "Pho An Gian", both majestic and lyrical. The female singer also went down to the audience seats, held hands with everyone singing together, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere. We are extremely happy because we are Vietnamese, Hong Nhung expressed her pride.
The female singer's brilliant return after a period of fighting cancer received great support from fans.

The Chillies group brought a series of youthful songs such as "The 8th Cloud", "Just Chill", "Dai Thuong Son". The group representative shared her pride in being present in the important program, and at the same time wanted to convey positive energy to the public.
My Anh - diva My Linh's daughter - brought a new breath with "Nong tan Ha Noi", "Tuoi mong mo" and "Yen". The modern arrangement and vibrant choreography help the GenZ singer create her own mark.

Singer Thanh Duy also left a strong impression when wearing ao dai, performing "Tinh anh ban chieu", "Kau la giua la nguoi Viet Nam" and "Toi yeu". With his energetic performance style, the male singer fueled the proud atmosphere in thousands of audiences, along with the brilliant red color from the yellow star flags distributed for free on the program.
Honoring cultural heritage

Not only stopping at music, chapter 2 brings many unique combined performances, depicting the beauty of traditional culture in a new look. Notably, the street hip hop performance blends with Dong Ho painting art, recreating the painting "Independence Festival" with strong yet sophisticated dance language.
The audience also enjoyed a special combination of the Cheo art "Ti Mau len pha" performed by artist Thanh Huyen and the vibrant modern performance of singer Vu Thao My. The female singer also contributed her voice to A New Day and Hao quang, creating a youthful highlight for part 2. In addition, there are impressive fashion shows.
Although it rained heavily in the second half of the show, thousands of spectators were still lingering until the last minute, showing the special appeal of the music night.
Independence Festival - 80 years of Vietnamese Pride is not only a cultural and artistic event but also a deep gratitude to generations who sacrificed for the Fatherland, affirming the stature, historical significance and brilliant milestones of the August Revolution in 1945 and National Day on September 2.
The event was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi City Department of Culture and Sports.
