Organize fireworks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) at 5 locations (Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium, West Lake) in traditional and artistic fireworks form. The unit in charge of implementation is the Hanoi Capital Command.
The 80th Anniversary of National Day on September 2 will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025 at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets, combined with parades and parades organized by the Ministry of National Defense.
According to the plan, Hanoi will organize 6 fireworks display locations, including 2 high-altitude locations combined with low-altitude and fireworks; 4 high-altitude locations combined with low-altitude.
Site No. 1 is in front of the new Hanoi Newspaper headquarters (Hoan Kiem ward). Location 2 is in front of the Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem Ward). Location No. 3 on Coconut Island (Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung Ward). Site No. 4 is in front of the National Water Sports Complex Sports Palace (Tu Liem ward). Site No. 5 in Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho Ward). Location No. 6 in Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong Ward).
The total number of fireworks used includes 3,600 high-altitude fireworks 600 at each location) and 540 low-altitude fireworks displays (90 displays per location). The locations will open simultaneously from 9pm to 9pm on September 2, 2025, with a duration of 15 minutes.
Quang Tri
Shooting will be held at 2 locations: Ho Chi Minh Square (Dong Hoi ward) and the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center (Nam Dong Ha ward).
Time: 9:50 p.m. on September 2, 2025, after the art program "Quang Tri - convergence and brilliance".
The 15-minute duration includes low-altitude and high-altitude fireworks.
Specifically, in Dong Hoi ward: Low-altitude fireworks 3ND, 4ND, 500 fruits and 60 platforms; Low-altitude fireworks 5ND, 6ND, 500 fruits.
Nam Dong Ha Ward: Low-altitude fireworks 3ND, 4ND, 500 fruits and 60 rigs; Low-altitude fireworks 5ND, 6ND, 500 fruits.

Can Tho
Expected to be held at 9:30 p.m. on September 2, 2025 at 3 locations:
Tay Do Park, Hung Phu Ward, Can Tho City: High-altitude fireworks display;
Xa No Park, Vi Tan Ward, Can Tho City: Low-altitude fireworks display;
Urban area 5A, Phu Loi ward, Can Tho city: Low-altitude fireworks display
Gia Lai
Gia Lai will organize a high-altitude fireworks display at Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku Ward) at 9:30 p.m. on September 2, 2025, right after the special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Currently, many other localities are also developing detailed plans to organize fireworks displays and special art programs to celebrate National Day 2.9.
