On the afternoon of September 27, sharing at a meeting with the press and media agency after returning to Vietnam, Duc Phuc revealed the investment cost for the performance "Phu Dong Thien Vuong".
With the performance "Phu Dong Thien Vuong" combining the beauty of national culture and modern music, Duc Phuc won the championship of the Intervision 2025 contest.
Talking about the cost of investing in the performance, Duc Phuc admitted that up to the time of the press conference, he still did not know the total investment for the competition in Russia. He estimated the number at billions of dong.
Duc Phuc revealed that the organizing committee of the contest to support the delegations of each country is 10 people. However, Duc Phuc's crew to Russia was about 16-17 people. Therefore, the male singer had to pay more for food and accommodation for those who exceeded the number.
At the press conference, Duc Phuc revealed for the first time that he had to pay for effects on stage such as fire and fireworks.
At first, the male singer mistook the organizers for full support, so he informed them of the most beautiful effects for his performance. Then when he received an quotation of several billion VND for the effects, Duc Phuc could not help but be "shocked".
The male singer said that the effect of fireworks and fire was initially 20-30 fire extinguishers, then when receiving a too big quotation, the crew had to withdraw the remaining 10 fire extinguishers. Thanks to his begging talent, Duc Phuc and his crew finally secured a " promotional" for a fireworks display on stage. However, the cost is also nearly 2 billion VND.
The singer revealed the reason for the high cost of the effects part because the devices are performed at different sessions, including 1 test session, 1 mock session and 1 formal session.
Duc Phuc said that at that time, he "determined the loss" when going to the competition but still wanted to use that cost for the most complete performance, not expecting to finally win big.
The championship of the Intervision 2025 competition helped the male singer bring home a prize of 30 million rubles, equivalent to 9 billion VND.
According to Duc Phuc, he will use this prize to volunteer in Russia as well as in Vietnam.
The male singer also emphasized that coming to support the Here & Now Charity Fund in Russia on the last day staying in your country is just the first charity activity in the long-term plan. I want to long-term accompany the Russian charity fund, Duc Phuc emphasized.
Commemorating 10 years of professional activities and with the victory at Intervision, Duc Phuc said he would allocate 1 billion VND to charity activities in Vietnam.
He considers this an activity to thank the audience who have always supported him in his music journey over the past 10 years.
