On the last day of staying in Moscow (Russia) after winning the Intervision 2025 international competition, singer Duc Phuc visited and donated to the Here & Now Charity Fund, which supports orphans and children in difficult circumstances.
Sharing with Sputnik Vietnam, Duc Phuc said that right after winning the award, the first thing he thought about was to give a portion of the prize to charity as a thank you to the Russian audience for their wholehearted support.
On my last day in Russia, before returning to Vietnam, I wanted to find a fund for the poor or a fund that could support children in difficult circumstances and orphans in Russia. Fortunately, friends in Russia helped me connect with the Here & Now Foundation to fulfill this wish, the male singer said emotionally.
The voice born in 1996 fulfilled his promise after winning the Intervision 2025 championship. As for Duc Phuc, in Vietnam, he still regularly participates in charity programs.
At the Intervision 2025 international music competition, Duc Phuc not only brought home a prestigious trophy but also received a prize of 30 million rubles (about 360,000 USD, equivalent to nearly 9 billion VND).
After the program, Duc Phuc said he would donate a portion of the prize to charity activities in Russia.
"Duc Phuc revealed a small secret: He wants to use a portion of the prize money he receives to contribute to a charity fund in Russia" - an interpreter conveyed Duc Phuc's words.
Duc Phuc participated in the contest with the song "Phu Dong Thien Vuong", inspired by the poem "Tre Viet Nam" by poet Nguyen Duy. This year's contest brings together 23 countries, including China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, South Africa and host Russia.
The victory not only affirms Duc Phuc's talent in the international arena but also leaves a beautiful impression on a compassionate Vietnamese artist.
The male singer's fan community is planning to welcome Duc Phuc's return on September 26.
