Body of missing woman swept away by water found

HUE - The body of the victim swept away by water and gone missing in An Cuu ward was found after a search overnight, not far from the scene.

On the morning of September 28, Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward (Hue City) confirmed that the body of the victim who was swept away by water and went missing on the afternoon of September 27 had been found.

Currently, the authorities are recovering the body, then carrying out related procedures to hand it over to the family for funeral arrangements. The 0 VND team of Thua Thien Hue received and supported the vehicle to take the victim's body back to his hometown.

On the night of September 27, after receiving the report of the incident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hue City Police) mobilized officers, soldiers and vehicles and related forces to search for the victim.

It is known that the victim's body was discovered by local residents after the water receded, lying not far from the accident site.

As Lao Dong reported, at around 3:00 p.m. on September 27, Mr. Nguyen Duy H. (born in 1985) and Ms. Duong Thi H. (born in 1990, from Thanh Hoa, temporarily residing at lot 46 Nguyen Huu Canh, An Cuu ward) walked to the bus station to return home. When she reached the top of the field, Ms. H. slipped and fell and was swept away by the water.
