According to Allkpop, recently, the mother of 6-year-old actor Jo Se Woong shared a touching story on social media, calling Go Hyun Jung "the saved of my son, Se Woong".
Along with the post, the mother shared a video showing Go Hyun Jung and Se Woong sitting next to each other on the beach, chatting very affectionately.
The mother explained that the incident happened last year on a remote island in Shinan while filming SBSs drama Queen Mantis.
"Se Woong was so excited to see the sea and suddenly ran towards the beach. The waves were already calm, suddenly rising and almost sweeping the boy away. At that moment, actress Go Hyun Jung rushed forward as quickly as a lightning, carried her child up and tightly hugged her child.
Despite her wet outfit, she still rushed in to save my son. I was so shocked that I stood on the spot. I don't know how to express my gratitude properly," the mother recalled.
After the incident, Go Hyun Jung continued to take care of Se Woong, play with the boy and make sure the boy felt safe.
"She's like a real angel. For a while, Se Woong kept calling her mother and missed her very much, the mother added.
This is not the first time Go Hyun Jung has been recognized for his kindness. In February, the crew of Queen Mantis revealed that the actress gave thermal clothing to all the staff, showing her respect for the crew.
Queen Mantis is a crime thriller currently airing on SBS and Netflix.

In it, Go Hyun Jung plays Jung Yi Shin - a notorious serial killer nicknamed "The Mantis" who brutally killed 5 men 20 years ago and has been in prison ever since.
Now, when a new mass murderer appears and imitates The Mantis's signature style, the police have come to Jung Yi Shin to ask her to help solve the case.
Cha Soo Yeol (played by Jung Yi Shin's son), a police officer who always hates his mother, is suddenly forced to work with her to solve this mysterious murder case.
Go Hyun Jung made an impression as soon as the film aired its first two episodes with his captivating and emotional acting. Many viewers admitted that they felt shocked by the actresss expressions and actions in the role of a murderer.
The film achieved impressive ratings of 7.1% and 6.9% in the first 2 episodes.
