According to official accounts such as About Music and Pop Planet, Jungkook has won the leading position among the most searched Kpop male idols on Korean YouTube this year.
Previously, in 2024, Jungkook was also the number 1 male idol in terms of searches on Korean YouTube, even while on military service. By 2025, he ranked 2nd in the same ranking.
Globally, Jungkook also topped in the US, becoming the most searched Kpop boy group member on YouTube for 2 consecutive years 2024 and 2025.
In Japan, he held the number 1 position for 10 consecutive years in this category. Jungkook also maintained the number 1 position as the most searched Kpop idol on YouTube globally for 5 consecutive years.
Last year, Jungkook ranked 3rd among the most mentioned people globally on YouTube, only after Cristiano Ronaldo (7.7 million mentions) and Lionel Messi (6.9 million mentions), with 4.6 million mentions. Even during his military service, he still recorded the highest number of mentions on YouTube among solo artists worldwide.
Jungkook also ranked No. 1 in the list of most searched Kpop idols on Google for 5 consecutive years, and also topped the Kpop star rankings on Tumblr in the same period.
On the short video platform TikTok, the personal hashtag #jungkook has surpassed 300 billion views, helping him become the first solo artist in history to reach this milestone. He is also the first and only one to surpass 40 million posts on the platform.
Jungkook also ranks No. 1 as the most searched Kpop idol on Pinterest in 2024 - a platform with more than 500 million users.
Most recently, the "Hooligan" challenge video he posted on his personal Instagram surpassed 100 million views in just 4 days of release. This post also became the 3rd most shared post in Instagram history, with more than 2.3 million shares.
Meanwhile, Jungkook and BTS are continuing the global tour "Arirang" in North America, expected to span 12 cities, with a total of 31 performances.
Due to oversupply, tickets for all the first days of the show were sold out immediately, forcing the organizers to add more shows in other cities such as Tampa, Stanford and Las Vegas.
BTS will continue their tour at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas (USA) on May 2nd and 3rd, marking the first time a Korean artist has held a solo concert at this location.
