Recently, Netflix Korea posted a video about the conversation between two MCs Yoo Byung Jae, Jonathan and two actors Kim Seon Ho, Go Youn Jung - the main actor in the upcoming Netflix movie "Can this love be translated?".
Yoo Byung Jae mentioned the mysterious poster of the character Chung Seop played by Kim Seon Ho in the movie "When life gives you tangerines", and mentioned that the production crew did not reveal who this character was.
Kim Seon Ho confirmed that, explaining that the director deliberately did not include Chung Seop's image in the joint photo albums to avoid revealing the content.
Yoo Byung Jae suspected it was Kim Seon Ho, but in the early scenes he still could not recognize the actor.
In response, Kim Seon Ho said that he had gone through a very elaborate makeup process to get that look: "Each makeup takes about 4 hours. Each strand of hair is hand-attached, not a wig at all. So, honestly, I am very happy that people didn't recognize me, which proves that all that effort has had results.

Jonathan also mentioned a memorable scene, in which Chung Seop tries to score points with his future wife's family with a somewhat exaggerated charm, which is said to contain many impromptu elements.
Kim Seon Ho said that the director only gave basic instructions on movements and detailed actions, which he completely decided for himself.
It's really a race against time. I think just getting closer to my future father-in-law and smiling is okay, and even thinking about intentionally tripping to fill that moment," the actor said.
He also shared that the way IU spoke the sentence "Mother" in a previous scene left a very strong impression, causing him to immediately imitate that emotional rhythm when saying his sentence "Dad" in the next scene.
Another highlight is the viral phenomenon called "Smile challenge", mentioned by Yoo Byung Jae in the program. Kim Seon Ho explained that there was a funny scene in which Chung Seop performed a heart-hugging gesture, pretending to be shot and blinking to laugh at the wedding with Geum Myeong (played by IU).
It was just a joke. We didn't film much, everyone laughed to get it over with, but luckily the audience turned it into a "Smile challenge" and shared it everywhere," the male actor recounted.
The biggest surprise was when Kim Seon Ho revealed that singer Ariana Grande had shared a clip featuring him on her personal social media page. "She said thank you for helping her song become popular again," Kim Seon Ho said, making the whole studio amazed.
Previously, when Kim Seon Ho's heart-stopping smile scene spread, Ariana Grande's song "Supernatural" released in 2024 was used as background music in most clips, causing the song to become popular again on Tiktok and many platforms.
