Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep becomes Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment

On the afternoon of January 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a ceremony to announce the Decision to appoint Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep to the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang congratulated Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep on being trusted by the Party and State, assigning him a great responsibility in the context of the Ministry's increasing workload and increasingly high requirements for the collective leadership of the Ministry.

According to Minister Tran Duc Thang, over the years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has always received deep attention from the Central Government and the Government in the work of consolidating the organizational structure, especially supplementing and improving the quality of the contingent of leading officials.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry and the collective leadership of the Ministry, Minister Tran Duc Thang warmly congratulated Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep on being appointed Deputy Minister, and affirmed that this is also the common joy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment when there is an additional experienced leadership cadre.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep is an official with many years of experience in the fields of agriculture and environment; used to work at the Government Office, the Government Inspectorate, and held the position of Deputy Chief of the Government Inspectorate Office. When he returned to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, he successively held the positions of Chief of the Ministry Office, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance.

Throughout his working process, Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep always completed the assigned tasks well, demonstrating leadership, management, and advisory capacity; with a high sense of responsibility, maintaining and promoting solidarity and unity in agencies and units.

Minister Tran Duc Thang emphasized that being appointed as Deputy Minister is an honor but also a heavy responsibility for Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep. The Minister requested that in his new position, he quickly grasp the requirements of the task, be proactive and active in his work; promote his capacity and experience, closely coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry and leaders of the Ministry to lead and direct the successful completion of assigned tasks, especially urgent and unexpected tasks under the direction of the Central Government and the Government.

The Minister also requested the leaders of the Ministry, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry and affiliated units to continue to coordinate, support, and support Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep in his work process, contributing to improving the effectiveness of leadership, direction and successful implementation of the political tasks of the Ministry and the sector.

Speaking to receive the assignment, Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep expressed his honor and emotion when he was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

He sent his deepest thanks to the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee and the Prime Minister for trusting, considering and deciding on the appointment; and at the same time respectfully thanked the Party Committee, the collective leadership of the Ministry, especially Minister Tran Duc Thang for always caring and creating conditions for him to complete his tasks during the past time.

Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep also expressed his gratitude to central ministries, departments, and branches; leaders of units, civil servants, public employees, and laborers in the Ministry who have accompanied, supported and trusted in the working process; especially units where he used to work such as the Ministry Office, Department of Planning and Finance.

Before the collective leadership of the Ministry and the entire conference, Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep committed to joining the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry to unite, unify, and stand side by side with the Minister to well implement the tasks assigned by the Party, National Assembly, Government and Prime Minister to the agricultural and environmental sectors.

He affirmed that he will devote all his efforts, intelligence and responsibility to implement the vision of developing the industry in a green and sustainable direction; building ecological agriculture, protecting natural resources, proactively responding to climate change, contributing to the double-digit growth target for the period 2026 - 2030.

Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep also emphasized that he will absolutely comply with the leadership of the Party organization, strictly comply with the law; uphold the spirit of innovation and decisiveness in action; constantly cultivate knowledge, train political bravery, and strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
