At nearly 11 am on January 16, a fire occurred at a 2nd-floor apartment building, block 2, building B3, Hung Dung apartment building, Truong Vinh ward (Nghe An province). The fire was then promptly controlled by functional forces, preventing it from spreading to adjacent apartments.
According to initial information, when people discovered it, the fire broke out fiercely in the 2nd floor apartment. Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police mobilized dozens of officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene.
After about 15 minutes of implementing professional measures, the fire was completely extinguished, ensuring safety for the 5-story building with dozens of households living there.
The fire did not cause any casualties, but many items in the burned apartment were burned down. The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by functional forces.
