Lim Ji Yeon reappears with a villain role

Lim Ji Yeon attracted attention when taking on the role of a haunted villain in the TV series "My Royal nemesis" scheduled to air on May 8.

My Royal nemesis" (tentatively translated: My Royal Enemy) tells the story of Shin Seo Ri (Lim Ji Yeon) - an unknown actress who is suddenly possessed by the soul of Kang Dan Sim, a notorious villain from Joseon (Korea).

From here, her life is turned upside down when she carries the personality and ambition of a concubine gradually rising from a low position to power.

At the same time, there is Cha Se Gye (Heo Nam Jun) - the heir to a cold-blooded tycoon, likened to "products of capitalism". The relationship between the two characters is built in a confrontational direction, both tense and containing emotional elements.

The noteworthy point of "My Royal Nemesis" lies in the combination of two contrasting settings: the Joseon dynasty and modern Korea. The awakening of an "ancient antagonist" in the body of a modern woman creates a premise for many situations that are both humorous and unpredictable.

The images released on April 15 show the transformation in Lim Ji Yeon's character, from a sharp look to a confused expression when entering the modern world. This contrast is expected to be a highlight in the actress's acting.

Previously, posters also attracted attention when placing the two main characters in the same space but at two different times. The contrasting layout between Joseon and modern not only creates visual effects but also emphasizes the conflict between the two worlds.

Lim Ji Yeon once impressed with the villain role in "The Glory" (Glory in Hatred), and also showed her ability to transform through many genres. With the new role, she is expected to continue to promote her strengths by combining ancient and modern colors.

Meanwhile, Heo Nam Jun is expected to make a mark with the image of a new generation tycoon, cold and calculating.

With a timeless script, the clash between two "villainous" characters and how emotions develop afterwards, "My Royal nemesis" is expected to bring a fresh perspective on love and ambition. The movie is scheduled to air on May 8.
