In early April, Jun Pham released the MV "Truth or Dare" which contained some sensitive images, and at the same time did not have age classification labels. After being released, the song immediately faced much controversy from the audience.
Before the noise about this MV, at the regular press conference in the first quarter of 2026, Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, confessed that before the incident, he knew nothing about singer Jun Pham as well as his music products.
Mr. Duong said: "In principle, performing arts activities are regulated in Decree 144 of the Government. Currently, the handling is assigned to localities to implement according to their authority".

Previously, at a regular press conference at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports responded to the incident, stating that the unit is in the process of appraising, evaluating, and seeking professional opinions from the Arts Council, functional agencies, and experts to have an official conclusion about the incident.
By the evening of April 9, singer Jun Pham's management company announced that it had proactively stopped releasing MVs on online platforms. This action is to show respect for the ongoing appraisal process of the management agency.

Regarding regulations on performing arts activities, Decree 144 of the Government specifically stipulates in Article 3, Article 7 and Article 21. The age classification for music products released on digital platforms currently does not have regulations on age classification labeling.
