After Rose, Lisa is the next member of Blackpink to announce the release of a 12-track solo album.

On the evening of November 19, LLOUD company announced that Lisa (Blackpink) will release her solo album "Alter Ego" on February 28, 2025.

The album cover photo was also revealed. In it, Lisa is wearing a hood, looking straight into the camera with a seductive, mysterious expression.

In addition, LLOUD said that this album will include many CD versions and Vinyl versions.

Streaming platform Spotify has updated the preview of the album “Alter Ego”, counting down to the album’s release. Accordingly, the album has a total of 12 songs, including 3 songs that Lisa pre-released in 2024: “Rockstar”, “New Woman” (featuring Rosalia) and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)”.

On YouTube, the Thai singer and rapper continued to excite fans by releasing a 3-minute album trailer, expanding on the one she posted a few days ago. In the video, Lisa appears in a tight black outfit with bold cuts and eyes that change color from space to space.

According to the press release, the five spaces in the video represent the five characters Lisa emulates, “each with a distinct personality.” The description adds, “they are the five points on a star, which has become the main symbol in this project.”

In an interview with Billboard, Lisa said that at first she was scared and worried because it was her first time doing a solo project without the companionship of Blackpink members. But now, Lisa is very happy to do it.

“My solo journey has allowed me to experience many new music genres, helping me realize that being flexible in different styles is my strength. I thought, I can conquer many genres, so why not give it a try!” - Lisa shared.
