Lisa for the first time shared specifically about the pressure surrounding the dating story of her K-pop idol in the upcoming documentary "Always Lalisa".
In the movie teaser, the youngest member of Blackpink said that idol culture in Korea makes it difficult for artists to comfortably publicize their love affairs. According to Lisa, the fact that an idol is discovered by paparazzi dating may have negative effects on image and popularity.
The female singer born in 1997 revealed that she had a few relationships when she was young. However, these love affairs were kept secret. Lisa believes that dating in the K-pop environment is not only related to personal privacy but can also affect the group she is active with.
I don't want my dating to become something that affects Blackpink's reputation," Lisa shared.
One of Lisa's secret relationships also became the inspiration for the song "Dream", in the solo album "Alter Ego" released in 2025. Before bringing the song to the public, the female singer contacted someone who was once attached to her to ask for their opinion.
This person agreed on the condition that the identity must not be recognized by fans. Lisa said that some viewers once thought that they had identified the character mentioned in the song, but she did not think that person was actually discovered.

Movie tickets are expected to be sold from September 9th. After a theatrical screening period, "Always Lalisa" will be released on YouTube Premium at the end of 2026.
