After "Truong Tuong Tu", Duong Tu returned with "Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa" co-starring with Ly Hien. The film quickly became a hit and achieved many impressive achievements, surpassing works aired at the same time such as "Bach Nguyet Phan Tinh", "Dai Phung Da Canh Nhan"...
However, after it was confirmed that there would be a second part, the film was considered a big failure for many reasons.
Previously, the movie "Truong Tuong Tu" starring Duong Tu was also divided into 2 parts due to the restrictive policy of the General Administration of Radio, Television and Advertising of China (General Administration of Advertising).
The fact that the two parts of the film were shown too far apart reduced the audience's attention and interest. Many viewers confirmed that they were no longer "interested" in part 2 of the film because they had forgotten most of the content of part 1.
If it cannot be broadcast soon, it is very likely that "Quoc sac phuong hoa" will fall into a similar situation.
Besides, recently, Chinese screens have continuously aired films set in the Tang Dynasty such as "Rem ngoc chau sa", "Thuc bro nhan gia"... with carefully invested, creative and rich costumes and scripts.
Therefore, renewing the content and creating a difference for part 2 of "Quoc sac phuong hoa" is a big challenge for the film crew.
The series just finished airing for VIP accounts on January 27 with an average Van Hop index of about 32.68 million views/episode, officially becoming the champion in the history of Mango TV. The previous position belonged to “Nguoi trong nhon”, the hit series at the end of 2024 with an average view count of 31.27 million views/episode during its broadcast.
Not only has a huge number of views and advertising brands, “Quoc sac phuong hoa” is currently creating a peony fever in China. The film also contributes to promoting tourism in Luoyang, making many local dishes and products popular and sought after by tourists.
Part 2 of the film revolves around the married life between Ha Duy Phuong (played by Duong Tu) and Tuong Truong Duong (played by Ly Hien). The following developments are expected to be much different from the first part, which focused on portraying the independence, strength and resilience of the female lead.
Currently, the film crew has not made any announcement about the broadcast time of part 2.
