Singer IU recently released a music video (MV) for her new single Love Wins All. In it, V (Kim Taehyung) - a member of BTS - appeared in the MV as her lover in the post-apoc golden world.
This is V's last major project before leaving for mandatory military service on December 11, 2023. He only had 1 week before this day and the filming process also took a few days.
In the newly posted MV behind-the-scenes video, V revealed why he still decided to accept participating in IU's project, despite the tight schedule.
First, V said that the biggest reason he took on this role was because he admired the Production Director of the MV Love Wins All - director um um um Tae Hwa.
The male idol really loves the director's work in the movie "Concrete Utopia" and took the opportunity to work with him.
First of all, the MVs director is director um um Tae Hwa, who filmed Concrete Utopia, so I thought it would be a precious memory to work with him, and I decided to play the main role in the MV, V shared.
The second reason is because V really likes the song "Love Wins All". He admired Palette Band composer Dong Hwan, who was praised by IU.
Do you know the author of this song? Dong Hwan, keyboardist of Palette Band. I really like him... he was almost hired at Disney so I decided to look for him, IU told V.
The beauty of Love Wins All is the decisive factor for V to take the role in the MV. He emphasized that if he did not do so, he would regret his decision.
When IU called me, I said I should listen to this song first. After listening, I know I will regret not making the MV because it is completely my hobby, V affirmed.
IU's song "Love Wins All" caused a "storm" in Korea as soon as it was released.
Love Wins All officially became the first song of 2024 to achieve the title Perfect All-kill - top 1 on all Korean music charts in real time, daily and weekly; and topped the weekly chart of the iChart system.
