Inspecting the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the Muong Pon flood area, Dien Bien district, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong praised the efforts of all levels of Dien Bien province in quickly overcoming the consequences of the huge flood that occurred at the end of July.
However, after checking the situation, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested the Dien Bien district government to be more urgent in arranging resettlement for households who lost their homes. At the same time, there should be a plan to support production for people because the agricultural area has been buried.
In addition, it is necessary to focus on checking villages and households still living in areas at risk of landslides. Resolutely evacuate people from areas at risk of being unsafe because of complicated weather developments.
