Korean media reported that on the morning of August 4, actor Song Young Kyu was found dead at around 8:00 a.m. the same day in a car in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, Gyeonggi-do Province.
The police are currently investigating the incident and the cause of death has not been released.
No signs of murder or a death note were found at the scene.
The actor's funeral was held at Special room No. 1 of Davos Hospital Funeral Home, Yongin (Korea) at 8:00 a.m. on August 6.

According to the authorities, the actor of "Penthouse 3" was arrested at 11pm on June 19 (local time) after the police received a report of a man driving while intoxicated.
Through the extraction of security cameras, traffic police determined that the moving vehicle belonged to Song Young Kyu and proceeded to block the vehicle and arrest it. The test results showed that Song Young Kyu's blood alcohol concentration exceeded 0.08% - the level of driver's license revoked according to Korean law.
After being arrested, Song Young Kyu regretted and apologized to the public.
