The 3D mapping light performance art program "Hanoi - radiant" is directed by the Hanoi People's Committee and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports at Hoan Kiem Lake.
This is an event in a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
From 7pm, despite heavy rain, thousands of spectators still flocked to Hoan Kiem Lake, near the Turtle Tower to wait to watch the 3D mapping program.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Phung Van Duc said that his family traveled from Bac Ninh to the capital, hoping to see the parade and parade. The performance on the evening of August 29th had the theme of Thang Long convergence. The program will bring the audience back to the milestone of moving the capital to a successful August Revolution, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The highlight of the program is the 5 curtains of water built on the surface of Hoan Kiem Lake, creating a large screen in the open space. This is where light blends with image and sound, bringing a new visual effect to the audience.
The heroic historical milestones and typical stories of Hanoi will be recreated through light language and visual art, bringing an impressive and new experience to the audience.
This is not only an activity to celebrate important political and historical events, but also an open public art space, contributing to spreading heritage values to the public, especially the younger generation.
