People's Artist Tu Long, Tung Duong, HIEUTHUHAI honored as outstanding artists in 2024

On the evening of January 11, the program introducing typical artists and some outstanding books in the field of Performing Arts and Literature in 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism took place at Hai Phong City Theater.

The program is held annually with the desire to honor outstanding artists in the performing arts and literature industry, and at the same time introduce and encourage artists who have achieved high achievements through professional art competitions and festivals in 2024.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that the artists and actors had outstanding achievements in the past year.

"In 2024, through 6 professional art competitions and festivals organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on a national and international scale, in many different forms, along with thousands of performances by art troupes across the country, unique art programs attracting hundreds of thousands of audiences, the innovation of the performing arts sector will not only meet political requirements and the people's need to enjoy culture, but also help the cultural sector discover and honor the talents, dedication and positive contributions of the artists; they are "beautiful flowers in the art garden", making positive contributions to the arts.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hopes and believes that the artists of the whole country in general, and the outstanding artists present in the auditorium today, will inherit and promote the achieved results, continue to "work enthusiastically in the field of art", create great works of value in terms of ideology, art, humanity, attract the public, arouse the ability to select the subtle, the good, position oneself, values, national identity associated with the desire to integrate and contribute in each person, that will be "a soft shield to eliminate the offensive, uncultured", because "fragrant flowers will overwhelm weeds", and the cultural milestone in the human mind is always the most solid milestone", Minister Nguyen Van Hung shared.

In the category of Inspirational Artist, People's Artist Tu Long was named. 2024 marked a great success for People's Artist Tu Long with the program Call Me by Fire.

In his award acceptance speech, People's Artist Tu Long thanked the audience, those who supported and created the "top of the roof, ceiling high, fluttering" program over the past year.

HIEUTHUHAI was honored as Outstanding Young Face of the Year. 2024 is an important milestone in HIEUTHUHAI's career, he won the championship of Say Hi Brother, and was honored as The Best Leader.

The outstanding performance of the year recognized the achievements of 2 shows Call Me by Fire and Anh trai say hi.

Call Me by Fire brings together 33 "talents" who are male artists working in many fields such as singers, rappers, actors, MCs... with different ages. The game show is Vietnamized from Call Me By Fire and is copyrighted by MangoTV.

Nights 1 and 2 of the concert Anh trai say hi organized by DatVietVAC were also awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung in recognition of outstanding achievements in contributing to the cause of building and developing the fields of culture, sports and tourism in the period 2019-2024.

In the film industry, actress Ngoc Xuan received the Outstanding Film Actress award for her role as Mien in "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story". At the 2024 Hanoi International Film Festival, Ngoc Xuan was the only representative of Vietnam to win the Promising Young Actor award.

In the category of Outstanding Television Actor, Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy and actor Vinh Xuong were recognized for their outstanding contributions over the past year.

In the music category, Son Tung M-TP's MV "Don't Make My Heart Hurt" was honored as the outstanding music and dance MV. This is the only Vietnamese music MV to surpass 100 million views in 2024.

Singer Tung Duong is the Outstanding Singer of the Year, with two songs "Canh chim phoenix" and "Tai sinh" leaving a strong impression on the audience.
