According to Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024 on the 2024-2025 school year time plan framework for preschool education, general education and continuing education issued by the Minister of Education and Training, holidays and Tet are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidance documents.
According to the above regulations, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, students will have a holiday depending on the regulations in each locality. Below is detailed information about the Lunar New Year 2025 holiday schedule for students in some provinces and cities:
50. Hau Giang:
The Lunar New Year holiday for students in the whole province in 2025 starts from January 25, 2025 (December 26, Giap Thin year) to February 2, 2025 (January 5, At Ty year).
Thus, students in Hau Giang province will have 9 consecutive days off for the 2025 Lunar New Year.
51. Lai Chau:
Students will have Tet holiday 2025 from Wednesday, January 22, 2025 (December 23, year of the Snake) to Tuesday, February 4, 2025 (January 7, year of the Snake).
For civil servants and public employees of the Department of Education and Training, the holiday will be from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, the year of Giap Thin) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, the year of At Ty). This holiday includes 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week.
52. Quang Ngai:
Preschool students, general education students and continuing education students in the province will have Tet holiday from Saturday, January 25, 2025 to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie from December 26, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year).
