Chinese media reported that the film "Suddenly Finding Haru" starring Kim Hye Yoon and Rowoon (Korean version) will be remade in China.
The film is produced by Hoa Sach Company, expected to be 24 episodes long and start filming in July. Currently Finding Haru Chinese version is called A Day in the Saturday, starring two actors Tham Nguyet and Tran Hao Sam.
The film revolves around the story of the girl A That (Tham Nguyet). One day, A That suddenly discovered that she was a obscure supporting character in a love comic book. The author even forced her to die to donate her heart to the female lead with congenital heart disease.
To save himself, A That collaborated with the role of the majority 13 (Tran Hao Sam) in the story to change the content. Her actions turned the comic world upside down, causing unexpected details.
Previously, in 2019, W wrongly found Haru released in Korea attracted the attention of audiences. The film is based on the school comic of the same name, with two main characters, Eun Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon) and Haru (Rowoon).
At the time of airing, "Cidentally Finding Haru" was loved by many young people. The film has created opportunities for new actors such as Kim Hye Yoon, Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook to become more famous and get closer to the public.
Also in that year, Kim Hye Yoon, Rowoon, Lee Jae Wook and Kim Young Dae simultaneously received the "Best New Actress" award at awards ceremonies in Korea such as MBC Drama Awards, Grimae Awards, and Asia Artist Awards.
