Gia Lai exports 136,200 tons of coffee, reaching 758 million USD

Gia Lai - The increased coffee export output helps businesses in Gia Lai earn foreign currency and make large profits.

On June 24, the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province said that the province's export turnover in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 783.58 million USD (reaching 92.19% of the plan), an increase of 47.85% over the same period.

Coffee alone accounts for 96.7% of the province's export turnover, with an output of 136,200 tons, equivalent to 758 million USD.

Export coffee prices have increased the most in recent years. The average export price reached about 5,500 USD/ton, an increase of more than 70% over the same period.

Gia Lai is currently a key agricultural region of the country. The province has formed and developed many large-scale specialized growing areas, applying high technology to produce key agricultural products.

Products such as coffee, bananas, rubber, pepper, durian, sweet potatoes... have high economic value, meet export standards, serve many international markets such as the EU, the US, Korea, Japan...

Gia Lai has continuously expanded its export market, with its agricultural products now available in more than 60 countries around the world.
