The film "Plan CM12" is produced by the People's Police Cinema (CAND) under the CAND Communication Department, Ministry of Public Security. Lieutenant General Do Trieu Phong, Director of the CAND Communication Department directs the content. The film is a meaningful artistic work on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the tradition of the CAND force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026).
The TV series "Plan CM12" was conceived and scripted from a typical case about the art of counter-intelligence struggle against the exile reactionary organization "United Front of patriotic forces to liberate Vietnam" led by Le Quoc Tuy and Mai Van Hanh.
The case lasted for 8 years (1980 - 1988) with a scope spanning many southwestern provinces, mainly concentrated in Ca Mau province.
The victory of the CM12 Plan is one of the best, largest and safest battles since the South was completely liberated; it is a victory of the intelligence, bravery and great creativity of the People's Public Security Forces, in which the main force is the People's Security Forces.
The TV series "CM12 Plan" is directed and produced by two directors Pham Trung Hieu and Tran Duy Linh.
