Audience member Tran Hien (24 years old, My Dinh, Hanoi) could not buy tickets for the Anh trai say hi concert in Hanoi. "I needed to buy tickets for CAT 2 and 3 but they were sold out at 12:10. The same goes for the other tickets" - she shared.
Tran Hien said that the two ticket types she wanted to buy, CAT 3 (800,000 VND) and CAT 4 (1,800,000 VND), were sold out after 5 minutes. She wanted to buy tickets to see Anh Trai Say Hi with her friends. Both at 9am - during the early sale and at 12pm, Tran Hien used 3 phones to hunt for the tickets she wanted but couldn't get them.
In the past, Tran Hien rarely bought tickets to see music shows, only watching shows in university, but because she loved the show Anh trai say hi, she wanted to buy tickets. “The show is good, very engaging to watch. The guys are handsome, that’s for sure. There are also some very talented guys who compose, sing, dance… and also bring joy to the audience, very entertaining.
I want to go to this show because the debut group of 5 brothers will have a new song. Moreover, this is the first and last time the 30 brothers will reunite in Hanoi" - she shared.
Admitting that she had no experience in hunting for tickets, Tran Hien carefully read the instructions, downloaded the app and paid via Momo, which was both quick and easy, but she expressed that "among more than 100,000 visitors, you have to be lucky to hunt". "Some people paid and their tickets were canceled. It was so hard hunting for tickets for the first time, if you were even 1 second late, you would have missed out and not had the chance to choose mid-priced tickets" - she expressed regret.
Like Tran Hien, audience member Nhu Quynh (34 years old, Linh Dam, Hanoi) tried to buy tickets twice but… failed. "At 9:45 am, I went in and saw that the system was closed. At 12 pm, my colleague and I tried to buy tickets on two phones but couldn't," she said.
"I usually only buy movie tickets, but because the show Anh Trai Say Hi was so interesting, I decided to hunt for concert tickets. I never thought that hunting for concert tickets would be so difficult" - Nhu Quynh lamented.
Audience member Thu Huong (3rd year student at Bach Mai Medical College) shared that she chose to buy tickets via the ticketbox app: "I read your advice to open the timer in seconds, at exactly 11:59:57, reload the app and buy right away. My friend and I did exactly the same thing, but when we pressed buy, the app said "you are in the queue".
Hearing people say that once you get in, you can’t reload or exit, so we kept it as it is. After nearly 20 minutes, it was still the same. We were very worried and decided to keep one machine as it is and reload the other. As a result, we had to queue behind more than 50,000 people. By the time we were able to buy, the fanzone and some other areas were full. My feelings at that moment were extremely sad and disappointed.”
Similarly, on the show's fanpage, many viewers could not buy tickets. On the Anh trai say hi fanpage, a viewer commented: "Reading 100 comments, 99 comments urged Vie to release the tickets". Many comments such as: "Release the tickets, Vie"; "Release the tickets quickly, so frustrating"; "Can't get tickets, even though 4 people tried to do it together, I don't understand"; "Is anyone selling tickets again?"; "36,000 tickets sold out in a flash"...
Currently, after 5 hours of opening for sale on the exclusive ticket distribution system Ticketbox, all ticket categories from 500,000 VND to 2,600,000 VND are sold out. There are only tickets left in two categories: 4,000,000 VND and 10,000,000 VND.
At 9:00 a.m. this morning (November 7), the organizers of the Anh trai say hi concert opened early ticket sales, creating a "chaotic" ticket hunt. The organizers of the program announced that the tickets were "sold out" after 45 minutes of opening for sale, but did not announce the specific quantity.
The Say Hi Brother concert took place on December 7 at My Dinh Stadium, with 12 categories ranging from 500,000 VND to 10,000,000 VND. The highest category was served food, drinks, and interaction with artists. The capacity of My Dinh Stadium was about 40,000 people. Previously, Say Hi Brother held two concerts in Ho Chi Minh City on September 28 and October 19, attracting tens of thousands of spectators.
