On January 17, two Chinese films, "The Beauty of the Country" (starring Yang Zi and Li Xian) and "The White Moon and Brahma Star" (starring Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng) opened on Douban.
“Quoc sac phuong hoa” achieved an average score of 7.8 through more than 132,000 reviews. “Bach nguyet phan tinh” achieved 5.9 points, through more than 46,000 reviews.
These numbers show that Duong Tu and Ly Hien's films have wider coverage and receive more positive reviews from the audience.
Notably, these are also the two previous films that aired on the same day, January 7, 2025.
Duong Tu and Bach Loc are the most famous faces among actors of their generation, so the two films have been compared many times.
On the first day of release, according to Van Hop's estimated views, "Bach Nguyet Phan Tinh" (19.29 million views) was viewed more than "Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa" (9.51 million views). But then, "Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa" quickly made a leap forward.
As of January 15, “Bach Nguyet Phan Tinh” reached 36 million views. Meanwhile, “Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa” is estimated to have surpassed 56 million views, reaching the Top 1 of the current Van Hop view rankings.
"Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa" also set a record, becoming the Mango TV platform's drama with the highest daily viewership in the history of Van Hop. Previously, Mango TV's best-performing drama was "Tieu Hang Nhan Gia", which aired at the end of 2024.
Some films attracted attention to each broadcast on Mango TV such as "Di Ai Vien", "Going to the wind", "my smoke of the human world" has not been able to reach 50 million view of Van Hop.
