According to Soompi, 2 weeks ago, Rose became the first female K-pop solo artist in history to enter the Top 3 of the Billboard 200, when her album "rosie" debuted at No. 3. Last week, the album "rosie" remained steady at No. 32 for the 3rd consecutive week on the chart.
With this achievement, “rosie” has become the first album by a female Kpop solo artist to stay in the Top 50 of the Billboard 200 for 3 weeks.
Meanwhile, Rose and Bruno Mars’ hit single “APT.” continues its impressive run on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s spent its 10th consecutive week on the chart, ranking at No. 34 last week, and is expected to climb to No. 4 after the Christmas holiday.
“APT.” also reached new peaks on both Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (which measures airplay on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the U.S.) and the Radio Songs chart (which measures airplay on U.S. radio stations across all music genres).
The song climbed to No. 7 in its 10th week on Pop Airplay and No. 10 in its 6th week on Radio Songs. Rose is now the first female K-pop artist (including a group) to enter the Top 10 of the Radio Songs chart.
Additionally, “APT.” remains at No. 4 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart, and peaks at No. 47 on the Streaming Songs chart in its 10th week on both charts.
On the Billboard Global Excl. US, “APT.” holds steady at No. 3 (in its 10th week), followed by “Toxic till the end” at No. 33 (in its 3rd week) and “Number one girl” at No. 108 (in its 5th week). On the Billboard Global 200, “APT.” is at No. 4, “Toxic till the end” is at No. 66 and “Number one girl” is at No. 161.
Latest predictions show that “APT.” will make a strong comeback next week on Billboard's top charts.
