Taecyeon surprised many viewers when revealing the reason behind the arm injury that once caused him to be hospitalized for emergency treatment during his time working with 2PM. The male singer said that the accident happened during a hand wrestling with member Junho, causing him to break his arm and be forced to cancel his schedule for treatment.
The story was shared by 2PM members when they appeared together in an entertainment program. When asked who is the strongest person in the group if competing in hand wrestling, Wooyoung and Chansung immediately objected, saying that this is a "taboo" of 2PM because a serious accident once happened.
According to Chansung, the incident happened when the group had a schedule in Japan. During the break between activities, Junho invited Taecyeon to wrestle for entertainment. This is a familiar game for members whenever they have free time.
Initially, both decided to compete with their left hands. However, as soon as they started using their strength, Taecyeon's arm suddenly made a loud noise. Chansung said the sound was like the sound of a broken baseball bat. The members present at that time all recognized that this was a sign that the bone had broken.

The incident caused the management company to immediately contact to grasp the situation. Chansung humorously recounted that when asked what happened, he quickly explained that he was not the one who wrestled with Taecyeon but Junho.
Junho also clearly remembers that time because the whole group had to cancel an important schedule to take Taecyeon to the hospital for emergency treatment. The male singer said that the road to the hospital was a very stressful time when he could only be with his teammates and could not help any more.
Although he was taken to a hospital in Japan, Taecyeon could not have surgery immediately. He said that according to the treatment procedure, the surgery must be performed directly by the doctor in charge, so he decided to return to Korea for treatment.
After returning home, Taecyeon underwent surgery and continued his recovery process. Chansung revealed that the male singer still participated in concert performances not long after that even though his arm was still in a cast, making those present at the program surprised.
To date, the wound has healed, but Taecyeon's arm still has scars left. 2PM members said that after this incident, they almost no longer wrestle their hands with each other because they are worried that similar injuries may recur.
Debuting in 2008, 2PM is known as one of the typical male groups of the second generation of K-pop with a strong image and energetic performance ability. After many years of activity, the members have all developed their own careers in many fields such as music, acting and entertainment. However, each time they reunite, they still often share interesting behind-the-scenes stories, helping fans understand more about the time they worked together at the peak.
