On the evening of November 12 (Vietnam time), the final night of Miss International 2024 took place in Japan, with the victory belonging to the representative of Vietnam - Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy.
Miss Thanh Thuy is the first Vietnamese beauty to be crowned at this prestigious beauty contest, after 19 times Vietnam has had a representative participating, since 1995.
Before Miss Thanh Thuy, only three Vietnamese beauties made it to the Top 15, one made it to the Top 8 and one won the 3rd Runner-up at Miss International.
In 1995, beauty Truong Quynh Mai was the first representative of Vietnam to participate in Miss International held in Japan and entered the Top 15. Truong Quynh Mai also won the Best National Costume award.
In 2011, Truong Tri Truc Diem represented Vietnam at Miss International in China and also entered the Top 15.
