Jisoo's appearance in the movie "Toan Tri Doc Gia: Tien Tri" was revealed.
In the film, Jisoo plays Lee Ji Hye, a high school student with strong fighting ability. However, compared to the original, Ji Hye's character's weapons have been changed, causing a controversy.

In the original, the character Lee Ji Hye is known to worship General Yi Sun Shin and use a sword as the main weapon. However, in the movie version, her weapons were changed into guns, leading to controversy among the original story fan community.
In response to opinions that this is a distorted content and deviation from the original plot, the film director spoke up at the press conference on June 17.
In action scenes with strong visual effects, I realized that diversifying weapons instead of having many characters use long swords like in the original will help highlight each character, director Kim explained.
He added: The character Lee Ji Hye was originally separated from the group of the main character Kim Dok Ja, but could not be ignored. After thinking a lot about how to make Ji Hye explode at the climaxes of the film, I decided to change her weapons.

At the press conference, the director gave the reason for choosing Jisoo in this film project. He praised the female singer for her enthusiasm and hard work at the script reading and during filming.
Although Jisoo's character did not have much screen time, the director believed it was an attractive role.
On the forum, Jisoo's character's appearance also received mixed opinions. Some viewers thought that Jisoo seemed stiff and lacking in emotion, while Lee Min Ho was commented to look too old for the character in the story.
The film Toan Tri Doc Gia: Tien Tri is adapted from the famous webtoon of the same name, revolving around a world in a story that suddenly became a reality, forcing the characters to fight for survival.
