Artist Phuoc Sang was born in 1969, a famous actor, director, and film producer in Vietnam.

Recently, the actor had a third stroke on the afternoon of August 15. The next morning, he woke up but his health was still weak, but he was out of danger.

Phuoc Sang is accepting to participate in a guest role in the film "Getting Rich with Ghosts 2: The foster War" with artist Hoai Linh.

The film's director Trung Lun once shared a picture of Phuoc Sang on set as he tried to complete the role.

In his youth, Phuoc Sang was famous for his talent, quick attention to the film market and wealth.

Phuoc Sang was born into a poor family of 7 siblings, especially after his mother passed away, his life became even more miserable.

When he had just graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema, Phuoc Sang and his brother Luu Huynh realized that the opportunity to do film business was very early. They set up a commercial video feature film production facility.

From a small initial establishment, Phuoc Sang gradually developed into a film studio and entertainment center, releasing many low-budget films but high revenue.

The male director is said to be quick-witted when grasping the audience's tastes in the market film genre, often called the " instant noodle" film of the 1990s-2000.

He is a famous producer, once known as the "King of Tet films", becoming the "king" who brought the names of many actors to the ranks of popular stars.

Phuoc Sang Film Studio produced many hit films such as "When Men Are Pregnant", "The Hire", " teenage princess and the General" , "Hello Co Ba"...

As for the film "Ha Dong Silk parts", Phuoc Sang Film Studio has become the first private film studio to have a work receive an award at the International Film Festival (IFF) when this work won the audience voting award at the 2006 Busan International Film Festival in Korea.

Not only making films, Phuoc Sang is also active in the entertainment industry when he was the MC of the program "Golden Dragon" since 2005, the game show "Happy birthday" on HTV7 from 2006 to July 2007.

At the same time as Diem Huong and Ly Hung, he was a familiar actor on the screen of commercial films. Later, as a cool boss and famous producer, Phuoc Sang still appeared in roles in "When Men Are Pregnant", "Truong Ba's Heart, Skin of the Carnations"...

Thanks to making "hand-carried" films, he has earned a large amount of revenue, and once owned a villa worth 60 billion VND in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City.

However, later on, Phuoc Sang's films were criticized for their quality, being purely entertaining and with sketchy scripts.

In October 2012, Phuoc Sang admitted to being at a loss in business due to investing in real estate, owing billions of dong. At the end of that year, he and actress Kim Thu announced their divorce.

After the debt bankruptcy scandal, Phuoc Sang tried to do many different jobs and remarried.

In 2017, he reappeared when playing a supporting role in the movie "H half-night Bus" and the movie "What to do with a lot of money" (2018).

In March 2023, he shared the idea of returning to acting.

The actor once shared about having had a stroke twice. Currently, he receives many compliments from colleagues and friends about his health.
