Recently, JYP Entertainment's girl group TWICE released a video introducing their 4th studio album, "This is for".
The 14-second video reveals the appearances of the 9 TWICE members and a track from the album.
In the video, the 9 members wear blue uniforms, with a tight crop-top leather shirt design, combined with short skirts with the prominent four print. Some members made a highlight in the lineup when wearing colorful socks with outfits.

The fact that all 9 girls appeared in straight outfits and hairstyles has made fans curious about the style of JYP's girl group to show in this album.
However, as soon as the video was posted, it caused controversy on social networks.
Many opinions say that TWICE plagiarized Jennie's (Blackpink) style in the MV "Zen".
In the MV Zen, Jennie has a scene appearing with many copies of herself, wearing a crop-top shirt, a blue dress and wearing blue socks.
TWICE's video recording also reminded many people of Jennie's filming of the MV "Zen".

Not stopping there, some other opinions pointed out that the melody in TWICE's video is similar to the beat of the song "Like Jennie" released by Jennie before.
Like Jennie is a song that highlights Jennies unique beauty that AI cant copy, so fans used the lyrics themselves to mock TWICE.
In response, TWICE fans took action to protect the group. They shared a photo of TWICE since 2017, when the group wore blue outfits and argued that blue was not Jennie's exclusive color.
In addition, TWICE fans also affirmed that in addition to the color, the outfits of TWICE members in the video have a design that is completely different from Jennie's design.
Regarding the issue of musical melody, fans believe that TWICE has not even officially released a new song, so it is impossible to judge based only on a short part of music.
Meanwhile, TWICE's studio album "This is for" will be released on July 11. This is the group's first full-length album in about 3 years and 8 months, since the 2021 album "Formula of Love: O + T = <3".
Along with the release of a new album, TWICE is also preparing to meet international fans this summer. On August 2, the group will take the stage as the main performer at the Lollapalooza Chicago music festival in the US.
